Hello SV Residents,
We have 3 dry ponds in the neighborhood.
1st - Entrance of the neighborhood, behind the SV sign
2nd - Verrazano, across from the Palazzo intersection
3rd - Hoosac
These dry ponds need to be maintained and kept in proper working order so that we do not get fined by Union County. We spent a lot of money to cut down the trees, shrubs, and weeds in these dry ponds. They are on a quarterly maintenance plan with US Lawns and get cut and sprayed so that they stay maintained and will eventually grow into a grassy area.
There are to be NO dirt bikes, regular bikes, four wheelers, or any other type of motorized vehicle to be driven through them. This is causing damage and erosion to the surface and undoing the maintenance that has been done to them. Please talk to your children and ask them to stay out of the dry ponds. Shannon Vista common areas are not to be ridden on with motorized vehicles. We are trying to get these areas in nice shape.
We also have a few common areas as well and these should not be used for any type of motorized vehicle as they will cause damage and disturbance to the areas.
1st - In the “pit” area behind the Palazzo and Marchetti homes
2nd - In the common area behind the Verrazano cul-de-sac
No trespassing/motorized vehicle signs have been ordered for all these areas.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
-Shannon Vista HOA Board
